Special Flooring
DENSIPHALT
Description Densiphalt®
is a semi-flexible joint-free topping, well suited for use in heavily trafficked areas, and where flexibility, durability and wear resistance are high priorities. Densiphalt® consists of an opengraded asphalt, with the voids filled with a high-strength cement-based mortar. Densiphalt® is applied as a 30-100 mm layer, and is laid on an adequate base course such as asphalt, lean-mix concrete or standard concrete. Densiphalt® can be coloured in a variety of shades.
Specification
The base course is sealed with bitumen emulsion. The open-graded asphalt is laid (special recipe). The dry Densiphalt® mortar is mixed with water in a special continuous flow mixer or batch mixer. The open-graded asphalt is filled with Densiphalt® mortar. The surface is finished with a rubber scraper. Finally, the surface is sealed with AQUASEAL or by sand saturation.

DENSITOP MT
Description
Densitop® MT is a flooring with high wear and impact resistance that can be used in most areas exposed to wear and impact. The flooring can be laid to good level even where the base concrete is somewhat uneven. Densitop® MT consists of a highstrength cement-based dry mortar that mixes with water to an easily worked mortar. It can also be mixed from two components: Densitop® Basic mortar and Densidur Q5 aggregates. Densitop® MT is applied as an 8–12 mm thick layer onto new or existing base concrete. Various colours are available.
Specification
- The base concrete is prepared by planing, scabbling, and water saturation.
- The Densitop® MT dry mortar is mixed with water (or Densitop® Basic dry mortar is mixed with water and Densidur Q5 aggregates) in a batch mixer.
- The mortar is laid and vibrated as a 8-12 mm thick layer.
- The surface is power-floated.
- Finally, the surface is sealed with AQUASEAL or by sand saturation.

DENSITOP LT
Description
Densitop® LT is a slip-resistant flooring with extremely high resistance to wear and impact, and good chemical resistance. It is used in areas subject to very heavy wear and impact or where there are strict hygiene requirements.
Densitop® LT is a blend of a highstrength cement-based dry mortar (Densit® Basic) and aggregates (Densidur S2-5), that mixes with water to give a stiff mortar. Densitop® LT is applied as a 15-25 mm thick layer onto new or existing base concrete. Various colours are available.
Specification
- The base concrete is prepared by planing, scabbling, water saturation and priming.
- The Densitop® Basic dry mortar and Densidur S2-5 aggregates are mixed with water in a batch mixer.
- The mortar is laid and vibrated as a 15-25 mm thick layer.
- The surface is power-floated.
- Finally, the surface is sealed with AQUASEAL or by sand saturation.
